Reservations
Reservations are available to book up to six-months in advance.
Reservations are released on a rolling monthly basis, on the first Wednesday of each month at 12pm AEST, six months in advance of the reservation.
As an example, if you are making a reservation to dine in December 2026, reservations would open at 12pm AEST on 1st July 2026.
For best availability, please consider joining us mid-week on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, or our Friday and Saturday lunch services.
Waitlist
If your preferred date is unavailable, you can request to be notified of cancellations by adding your details to our waitlist in the booking widget or contact us directly at info@firedoor.com.au.

Grab a drink at Gildas
Enjoy a drink or pintxo before or after your Firedoor experience at our sister Basque-inspired wine bar, just 100 metres away on the corner of Mary and Albion Street. Inspired by Lennox’s time in Basque Country, Gildas pays homage to the original pintxo created in San Sebastian and the eponymous film starring Rita Hayworth.
Walk-ins are always welcomed, and for those who like to plan ahead, Golden Hour — our version of a happy hour — reservations are available on the Gildas website.

Menu Offering and Dietaries
Firedoor offers an ever-evolving menu celebrating the best ingredients of the day.
Lunch: $155 three-course set or à la carte menu
Dinner: $235 six-course menu
Due to the nature of our set menu and cooking on a grill, please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at time of reservation. For significant modifications or any questions, please contact us at info@firedoor.com.au before booking. Please note, last-minute dietary requests may not be possible on the day.

Children
We welcome children who are able to fully partake in our chef’s set menu (lunch and dinner) or à la carte offering (lunch only). However, due to the duration and nature of the experience, it may not be suitable for young kids.
Kindly note due to space limitations we are unfortunately unable to accommodate prams and highchairs within our dining space.
Before you visit
Redeeming Gift Cards
Please advise us at time of reservation if you plan to redeem a Firedoor, Gildas, or third-party gift card for your booking.
If you are using a Firedoor or Gildas gift card issued by The Card Network, please remember to activate your physical card or add your digital card to your Wallet.
Please note, Fink and Fink restaurant gift cards are no longer accepted at Firedoor or our sister venue, Gildas.

Cancelling or Changing a Reservation
We understand plans can change. If you need to amend or cancel your reservation, please contact our Reservations team at info@firedoor.com.au or call (02) 8204 0800.
Please note, should you cancel your reservation within 48 hours (bookings of 1 to 5 guests) or 72 hours (bookings of 6 or more guests), or fail to show for the booking, a cancellation charge of $235 per person will be incurred.
